Grandparent/Grandchild Relationships
These important and unique relationships deserve greater research attention and Dr. Boon and her students are among those seeking to understand them better.

To date, studies from the personal relationships lab have explored various aspects of you adult grandchildren's relationships with their closest grandparent (e.g., the extent to which the impact of such relationships varies as a function of emotional closeness and relationship strength), how a grandparent's health affects young adults' relationships with their grandparents, and young adults' use of Facebook in their relationships with their grandparents (unpublished).
